Maximum Power Extraction Control Algorithm for Hybrid Renewable Energy System

In this research, a modified fractional order proportional integral derivate (FOPID) control method is proposed for the photovoltaic (PV) and thermoelectric generator (TEG) combined hybrid renewable energy system. The faster tracking steady-state output are aimed at suggested maximum power point (MPPT) technique. derivative number (µ) value in improved FOPID (also known as PIλDµ) structure will be dynamically updated utilizing of change PV array voltage output. During transient, µ changeable; it’s one start after reaching (MPP), allowing strong characteristics. TEG use freely available waste thermal created surrounding additional generation, increasing system’s conversion efficiency. A high-gain DC-DC converter circuit included system to maintain high amplitude DC input inverter circuit. approach’s performance was investigated using an extensive MATLAB software simulation validated by comparing findings with perturbation observation (P&O) type MPPT method. study results demonstrate that controller-based outperforms P&O harvesting achievable from PV-TEG source. There also better action response.
